Park Closure Announcement

Knightsbridge Park will be closed to facilitate two capital projects led by Peel Region. To accommodate the construction, the park is expected to be closed from Fall 2024 and is projected to re-open in 2028.

About the Project

Peel Region is planning to install new sanitary sewer pipes and maintenance holes in your area within the next two years, as shown on the attached map. Sanitary sewers are underground pipes that carry wastewater from your home to a wastewater treatment plant. Wastewater is created when water goes down the drain or is flushed down the toilet. As pipes age and our population grows, we need to replace older sewers and install new ones to keep providing high-quality wastewater services to you.

Key Project Features

This project involves adding a third tower to the existing two buildings at the site. The new tower will bring 200 new affordable rental units to Brampton.
