Project Overview
As part of the City’s watercourse erosion program, the City has engaged the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) to implement erosion control and slope stabilization work within Birch Bank Park, along Spring Creek.
The project will address ongoing erosion concerns in the area highlighted on the site map below by constructing bank remediation measures that will stabilize the channel slope and prevent further encroachment on the recreational trail.
Project Timeline
Construction begins in fall 2025 and will be completed by spring 2026.
