Brampton Lifesaving Club

Make a splash into Lifesaving Sport

The Brampton Lifesaving Club is a fun and active program for youth ages 7 to 16 who want to take their swimming to the next level. Athletes learn and practice Lifesaving Sport, which includes competitive individual and team events in the pool.

Led by certified Lifesaving Coaches, this program focuses on:

  • Strength, power, and endurance
  • Teamwork and sportsmanship
  • Improving swimming skills
  • Most importantly—having fun!

Program Sessions

Brampton Lifesaving Club offers programs all year long:

  • Summer Session: July – August
  • School-Year Session: September – June

Who Can Join?

To join, swimmers should be comfortable with:

  • Swimming 100 metres or more using front crawl, back crawl, and breaststroke
  • Performing 50 metres of scissor kick or eggbeater (treading water) without stopping

Competitions and Events

Throughout the year, our athletes train for a variety of pool events and may compete in local, regional, or provincial competitions.
