Page Content Chinguacousy Park Paddleboat Admission PolicyParticipants under the age of ten (10) must be always accompanied by a parent/guardian. An adult (14 years of age or older) is only able to supervise two (2) persons under the age of ten (10). Participants with serious medical conditions should be accompanied by an individual knowledgeable of their condition and responsible for their direct supervision. Paddleboat tickets are not sold in advance and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.The last boat ride will be sold 30 minutes before closing.Chinguacousy Park Paddleboat RulesAdhere to the time of your rental, you must be back within your 30-minute time slot. You must be always accompanied by a lifeguard while on the docks.Lifejackets must be always worn on the docks and while in the paddleboat. Always remain in your paddleboat unless told otherwise by a lifeguard. Paddleboats are to remain in the open area and are not permitted to go under the bridge or upstream.No switching of patrons on the boats during rental times. Do not pick up or drop off people other than at the boathouse. No horseplay is permitted while in the paddleboat. No smoking, alcohol, or animals allowed while operating a paddleboat.A 4-seater boat can accommodate a maximum of two (2) adults and two (2) children (14 years of age or younger).No swimming, running, jumping, or diving.In case of emergency, use one long whistle blast and wave your arms to signal the lifeguards that you require immediate emergency assistance when on the water. Do not give whistles to children.Personal items are not permitted to be left in the boathouse or on the dock. The City of Brampton is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged belongings. Caution: The docks are slippery when wet.
