Over the last three years, more than 25 enhancements have been made to cricket fields, with more amenity upgrades underway. As demand continues to grow in our city, we are committed to enhancing our pitches and creating more space for all to play and enjoy. View a complete list of cricket pitches in Brampton to learn more. Allan Kerbel ParkIn June 2025, Allan Kerbel Park welcomed a new youth cricket field. This will be a synthetic pitch providing a space for youth to enhance their cricket skills, while fostering an active and healthy lifestyle and contributing to the expansion of Brampton’s cricket amenities. Batsman Park Installation of natural cricket pitches and improved screens were completed in 2020. Blue Oak ParkIn July 2024, Blue Oak Park welcomed a new youth cricket field. This will be a synthetic pitch providing a space for youth to enhance their cricket skills, while fostering an active and healthy lifestyle. The field will be programmed for leagues this summer, contributing to the expansion of Brampton’s cricket amenities. City Lands/Brampton Sports ParkThe existing cricket field was redeveloped in 2021 to expand the field to international standards, including natural turf pitches, adjusting the field layout to provide better sun orientation, improved grading and spectator access. The City is spearheading a joint development partnership for the City Lands, visit Uptown Brampton City Lands to learn more.Creditview Sandalwood Park Development of a fully lit cricket field is underway, with anticipated completion in 2024. Installation of a general purpose shade shelter was also completed to support all multi-use, including cricket. County Court ParkIn July 2024, County Court Park welcomed a new youth cricket field. This will be a synthetic pitch providing a space for youth to enhance their cricket skills, while fostering an active and healthy lifestyle. The field will be programmed for leagues this summer, contributing to the expansion of Brampton’s cricket amenities. Earnscliffe ParkIn 2023, the cricket pitches were upgraded to synthetic turf and opened for use in 2024. Emancipation Park (formerly Dixie 407 Sports Park) A new cricket pitch at Emancipation Park opened for play in 2020. Improvements included the addition of sight screens to the cricket amenities on site, allowing for enhanced cricket play for larger groups, tournaments, and the competitive grass-roots cricket leagues. Repairs to the existing batting cage, a pilot washroom installation and a general purpose shade structure was installed in 2023. A new cricket pitch was installed in 2023 and opened for use in 2024. Flower City Community CampusImprovements to the existing cricket field were completed in 2021 and included expanded field of play, turf upgrades, adjusting the field layout to provide better sun orientation, and irrigation. Great Gulf Cricket Pitch at Teramoto Park The location features multiple natural pitches installed in 2020. Lighting was added in 2021 to make this location the City’s first fully lit cricket pitch. Gore Meadows Community CentreDevelopment of one premier cricket pitch and two community cricket pitches will be included in the overall development of Gore Meadows Community Park, anticipated completion in 2025/2026.Kwality Sweets Cricket Pitch at Andrew McCandless Park Brampton’s second fully lit cricket field has been completed. Amenities include upgraded natural turf wickets, scoreboard, sightscreens, improved spectator seating, irrigation, and park pathways. Additional lighting was installed in 2023 and two new shade shelters and cricket batting cages opened in 2024. Save Max Sports Centre Pitch replacement and shade shelter installation was completed in 2023 and cricket batting cages opened in 2024.Torbram Sandalwood Community ParkNewly replaced sight screens for enhanced play.Turner Fenton Partnership with Peel District School Board Joint partnership with Peel District School Board at Turner Fenton Secondary School to build a full-sized, fully lit cricket field; anticipated completion in 2024.
