The City of Brampton is gearing up for an exciting season of Winter 2026 recreation programs, offering something for everyone, from fitness and aquatics to creative arts and sports. Among the highlights is the March Break Brampton Steelheads Camp, a special partnership between Brampton Recreation and the Brampton Steelheads that brings hockey excitement to camp all week long. Brampton Recreation is proudly HIGH FIVE® accredited, demonstrating the City’s commitment to delivering safe, high-quality and developmentally supportive programs. Register for Brampton Steelheads March Break Camp
From March 16 to 20, 2026, it’s Brampton Steelheads Week! All March Break campers will score big with an exclusive trip to the CAA Centre on Tuesday, March 17 to cheer on the Brampton Steelheads live in action. Each camper will receive a commemorative t-shirt, enjoy themed activities, and even meet the team mascot! March Break camps include a game ticket, popcorn, transportation, a t-shirt, and activities, everything you need for an action-packed week. Children and youth from age four and older can choose from exciting camps, including:

Brampton Sports League winter 2026 season
Get in the game this season with pickleball, badminton, indoor cricket, basketball and more at recreation centres across the city. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or just playing for fun, it’s the perfect way to stay active, meet new people and bring your competitive spirit to the court or field. Brampton’s 65+ Annual Recreation Membership
The City of Brampton extended the free 70+ Annual Recreation Membership to include residents aged 65 and older. Eligible residents can enroll in the newly expanded membership. Starting June 1, 2025, those enrolled will be able to access the City’s wide range of recreational programs and services at no cost through the new free 65+ Annual Recreation Membership. Residents can visit any City of Brampton recreation centre to verify their eligibility and enroll in the new membership. Adults Developing and Participating Together (A.D.A.P.T) (21+)
The City of Brampton offers a wide range of inclusive recreation programs designed to support residents of all ages and abilities. These programs provide opportunities to build new skills, connect with peers and participate in fun, accessible activities in a welcoming environment.
Residents can explore both registered and drop-in options tailored to various needs, including sensory-friendly environments, small-group lessons and adaptive recreation. The City’s Adults Developing and Participating Together (A.D.A.P.T.) program for adults 21 and older has recently expanded and is now offered five days a week, giving participants even more opportunities to engage in games, music, fitness, crafts, swimming and social activities in a supportive setting.

Recreation program registration resources
Online registration
To ensure a seamless online registration process, residents are asked to:
- Make sure you can log in to your online account in advance.
- Check your personal information on your account to ensure accuracy.
- Browse programs in advance of registration day and make a shortlist.
- Add your credit card information to your account in advance. We can no longer accept financial information over the phone or via email.
- Use the date range filter and select the next session date to browse available courses.
- Do not refresh the page while payment is being processed.
- The Google Chrome browser provides the best desktop user experience.
- Reset your password using the “Forgot password” link if needed.
- Check your residency status under “Account Verification” tab. Only verified Brampton residents receive early registration access. To verify, visit any Recreation Centre with photo ID and proof of address.
- Do not create a new account if you already have one—your credits, subsidy and account history will not transfer.
Patrons will be added to a virtual waiting room on the day of registration to ensure a fair and equitable process and help improve the online registration experience.

Download Recreation’s new Registration App to ensure a smooth and convenient registration experience. The app allows users to easily browse programs, register for activities and make payments directly from their mobile device. Get set up today so you are ready when registration opens.

Verify Your Recreation Account to Keep Your Resident Benefits
Every two years, Brampton residents are required to verify their residency to continue enjoying priority registration and council-approved resident rates for City recreation programs. Simply bring an acceptable form of valid photo ID with your proof of Brampton address to any recreation centre Customer Service Desk and staff will confirm your residency and update your account on the spot. Verification is quick and helps ensure uninterrupted access to resident benefits.
Any accounts not yet verified have already been switched to non-resident, meaning you will not have access to early registration or council-approved resident rates and you will not be able to register on December 5.
To check your status, log in to your Recreation Registration Account and select the “Account Verification” tab. If your account shows as unverified, visit the Customer Service Desk at your nearest
Recreation Centre with valid photo ID and proof of Brampton address (e.g., driver's licence). Staff will verify your residency and update your account on the spot. Visit this website for more information.
Financial assistance for residents through ActiveAssist
ActiveAssist, generously sponsored by 407 ETR and Capital Power, is a fee subsidy program offered by the City of Brampton, designed to help low-income individuals and families in Brampton participate in recreation programs. This program is available for Brampton families who qualify. Approved applicants each receive a $275 credit, which can be used toward a wide variety of drop-in and registered programs and memberships.
