The Brampton Farmers’ Market returns this summer in a new location

​BRAMPTON, ON (May 28, 2021) – The City of Brampton’s Farmers’ Market returns for the 2021 season on June 19 in a new downtown location.

In anticipation of downtown redevelopment during the market season, the Market is relocating in Ken Whillans Square, Wellington Street West and Gage Park. The market will continue to run Saturdays, from 8 am to 1 pm, rain or shine until October 23. Many of the favourite farmers and local artisans will return offering freshly-picked seasonal produce; prepared foods and unique handcrafted goods!

COVID-19 Health and Safety Measures
City staff will ensure the market is operated in accordance with Provincial and Region of Peel Public Health COVID-19 directives and guidelines. All market vendors and shoppers will be required to wear a face mask. Social distancing and maximum occupancy numbers will also be enforced.

Getting to the Market
The market is still centrally located in Brampton’s downtown area and is accessible by Brampton Transit or by bicycle. For those driving to the market, free parking is available at Brampton City Hall.
