​BRAMPTON, ON (August 16, 2025) – Stanley Cup champion, three-time NHL All-Star and former Toronto Maple Leafs star Gary Roberts will join the 2025 lineup for Hockey Night in Brampton, taking place Wednesday, August 20 at the CAA Centre, in support of Brampton’s second hospital.

With the event just days away, fans can look forward to seeing Roberts hit the ice alongside an exciting a star-studded roster including Team Captain Auston Matthews, Ryan Getzlaf, Curtis Joseph, Mark Giordano, Jeremy Roenick, Owen Nolan, Owen Power and many more!

​Player Profile

​Born in North York, ON, and raised in Whitby, ON, Gary Roberts is a Stanley Cup champion (Calgary Flames 1989), Memorial Cup champion (Guelph Platers 1986), and three-time NHL All-Star whose career spanned 21 seasons. Drafted 12th overall by the Calgary Flames in 1984, he went on to play 1,224 NHL games with Calgary, Carolina, Toronto, Florida, Pittsburgh, and Tampa Bay, recording 910 points. Renowned for his perseverance, Roberts overcame a serious neck injury to extend his career by another 12 seasons, earning the Bill Masterton Trophy in 1996.
