For more than 50 years, Pride Month has been a time to reflect on the progress made by the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and the work that remains. In Brampton, Pride is not only a celebration of love, identity and expression, it’s a continued commitment to fostering a safe city where everyone belongs.

This year’s Pride event features an exciting afternoon lineup of drag and musical performances, including The Virgo Queen and The Spice Queens, plus roaming characters, photo opportunities and a curated vendor marketplace celebrating local 2SLGBTQIA+ entrepreneurs. The event will also host community booths from advocacy groups and service providers across Peel Region. Dine out and enjoy exclusive Pride-themed menus at select downtown Brampton restaurants.

Event highlights:

  • Enjoy stage performances hosted by Rebecca Perry, with DJ Chissmiss Cherry
  • Storytime with Fay & Fluffy
  • Vogue LED tunnel photo booth, marquee shimmer wall installation and more interactive displays
  • Vendor marketplace showcasing 2SLGBTQIA+ creators
  • Community info booths from Rainbow Sauga Alliance, Wellfort Community Health Services, Moyo Health & Community Services and more
  • Free activities including face painting, photo booths and appearances by The Little Mermaid, Unicorn Fairy Princess and a Rainbow Stilt Walker
Pride 2025 is made possible through the generous support of TD, Algoma University, Dynacare and Toronto Pearson.

As part of its ongoing commitment to equity and inclusion, the City will also unveil a Pride-themed crosswalk at Chinguacousy Park later this summer. The temporary crosswalk will serve as a visible symbol of Brampton’s dedication to creating a safe, welcoming and celebrated space for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

Accessibility and inclusion

The Rose Studio will act as a designated safe space during the event. Accessible washrooms will also be available onsite. Pride 2025 is a family-friendly event open to all.
