Learn a new sport, have fun and continue to pursue an active lifestyle 

BRAMPTON, ON (January 31, 2024) –The City of Brampton, in partnership with the Brampton Sport Alliance, is gearing up to inspire youth to learn something new and maintain an active and healthy lifestyle with its fifth annual Sports Day in Brampton event. 

Taking place on February 24 at Brampton’s Save Max Sports Centre, this year's Sports Day in Brampton creates an opportunity for residents to discover a newfound love for staying active. This drop-in event is free, and registration is not required.

With sports demonstrations and interactive sessions for children and youth under 18 years old and all athletic abilities, attendees are encouraged to connect with one of 12 local youth organizations to discover new sports within the city and register for the spring and summer upcoming seasons. Sports featured this year include:
 
  • baton twirling 
  • baseball
  • basketball 
  • football 
  • lacrosse 
  • soccer
  • and more 
 
Participants will be given an event passport to collect stamps for each sport they try. Those who collect three stamps or more will be entered into a draw for a chance to win prizes.
