Celebrate Earth Month in Brampton!

Register for a Parks Cleanup, the City’s first Earth Day Environmental Celebration and a tree planting.
 
​BRAMPTON, ON (April 1, 2022) – As a Green City, Brampton continues to make strides in sustainability efforts and reducing its impact on the environment. This April, celebrate Earth Month by taking part in the City's community environmental initiatives.

Parks Cleanup – April 1
Brampton’s Parks Cleanup is underway for 2022. Residents can volunteer to lead a cleanup at a park of their choosing from April 1 to November 1. The City will also host organized cleanup events in May, featuring an event in each ward pairing and a free community barbecue. Environmental Celebration and Grow Green Awards Ceremony – April 23
Join the City of Brampton’s first Environmental Celebration andGrow Green Awards! On Saturday, April 23 from 10 am to 2 pm at Norton Place Park, the City will host family-friendly activities and present the new Grow Green Awards to environmental leaders in the community. Tree Planting – April 24
In partnership with the Toronto Region Conservation Authority (TRCA), the City will host a free tree planting event on Sunday, April 24 from 10 am to 12 pm at Gore Meadows Community Centre. Registration is required. For details and to register, visit www.brampton.ca/parks.
