​Media are invited to attend Baseball Day in Brampton, a special event hosted by the City of Brampton in partnership with Jays Care Foundation and the Blue Jays Baseball Academy. The event will feature free youth baseball skill development workshops, as well as a special appearance from former Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Ricky Romero, along with family-friendly activities including games, a live DJ, a food truck and a visit from Buzz the Bee, Brampton Recreation’s mascot.

Mayor Patrick Brown will provide remarks and will be presented with a jersey from Ricky Romero.

Media representatives who wish to attend in person must register by Friday, September 26 at 12 pm by emailing mediarelations@brampton.ca. To allow time for setup, media are encouraged to arrive at least 15 minutes before the event begins.  ​
