BRAMPTON, ON – Every year on November 11, Canadians come together to pause, reflect and honour the individuals who have served and continue to serve Canada in times of war, conflict and peace. This year, the City of Brampton, in partnership with Royal Canadian Legion Branches 15 and 609, will host a series of services and parades to pay tribute to Canada’s veterans and active service members, recognizing their courage, sacrifice and dedication to protecting our freedoms.

As part of Veterans’ Week (November 5 to 11), the City also acknowledges Black Veterans Day on November 7 and Indigenous Veterans Day on November 8, honouring the significant contributions of Black and Indigenous veterans in shaping Canada’s history and heritage.
