Turtles is a composition of collages brought together in order to depict community, generosity, and curiosity. Within these collages turtles and other animals are seen performing for one another, giving to each other, and exploring their surroundings. Through depicting different animals peacefully coexisting, this artwork represents unity through shared experiences while embracing diversity. The themes of nature present in this work convey the importance of parks and conservation within Brampton. It is also reminiscent of local arts and culture, such as performance art that takes place at the Rose Theatre and Garden Square. This work is a reminder of the importance of creativity and living in harmony.
