- Masks
As of June 11, 2022 masks are no longer required on buses or inside terminal buildings.
Please respect those who still choose to wear them.
- Front Door Boarding
All riders are required to board through the front doors and exit through the rear doors.
Passengers with accessibility needs can continue to exit through the front doors.
- Pay with PRESTO
Riders are encouraged to use PRESTO as a contactless form of payment. Set up autoload and autorenew to never be left without a fare. To load on the go, download the new PRESTO app. Visit

- Bus Capacity
In consultation with Peel Public Health, bus capacity limits have returned to pre-COVID capacity.
- Passengers are still required to be behind the yellow strip on the floor, 6 feet behind the driver compartment while the bus is in motion
- As of June 11, 2022 passengers are no longer required to wear a mask when travelling on a bus.
- Reduced Service
Brampton Transit is operating a reduced service until further notice. Service levels are continuously being evaluated based on the resources available and rider feedback.

- Cleaning & Sanitization
An enhanced cleaning and sanitizing schedule remains in effect. All hard surfaces in our buses, terminals and facilities, Operator compartments and seats are sanitized on a continuous basis.

Contact Centre is open to assist with inquiries and trip planning. Please call 905.874.2999 for assistance.
In-person customer support is available at our Downtown, Brampton Gateway and Bramalea Terminals. Trinity Common Terminal remains closed.

Safety Tips
To help stop the spread of COVID-19 and to ensure the safety of everyone on board, please continue to practice these health and safety measures.
- Wash Your Hands: Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Use an alcohol based hand sanitizer when on the go.
- Cover Your Mouth: Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or elbow, and wash or sanitize your hands afterwards.
