Community Tree Planting

Be a part of our annual tree planting events to help grow Brampton's urban forest!

Earth Day Tree Planting

Each year the City hosts a community tree planting event in honour of Earth Day (April 22).  The event usually holds on a weekend in late April to allow for greater community turn out. The City holds the tree planting at a new park each year.

Spring Tree Planting for Scouts/Guides

In partnership with the Toronto & Region Conservation Authority (TRCA), the City hosts an annual Spring tree planting event for Scouts and Guides at Valleybrook Park. This collaborative event has been held for over 25 years on the first Saturday of May!

Community Parks Day Tree Planting

Every September the City celebrates Community Parks Day with a family-friendly event which typically includes tree planting, information booths, kid’s activities, and a free BBQ.

More details on these Tree Planting events can be found on the City's Event Calendar.
