About the Hurontario LRT

The Hurontario LRT (HuLRT) will bring 20 kilometres of fast, reliable, rapid transit along the Hurontario corridor. It will form part of a seamless integrated regional transportation network that will connect Brampton with the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA). It is a city-building and region-connecting project that will transform Hurontario Street into a vibrant people-oriented corridor connecting communities and accommodating growth anticipated over the next 30 years.

What's happening within Brampton?

  • Three (3) LRT stops, including Ray Lawson, Sir Lou and Brampton Gateway Terminal.
  • The Operations, Maintenance and Storage Facility (OMSF) will be located within Brampton, south of Highway 407 ETR.
