Minister's LetterOn January 16, 2018 the Minister of the Environment and Climate Change gave the go-ahead for the Downtown Brampton Streetscaping Environmental Assessment project. In a letter to the City the Minister has decided that the City has addressed the concerns brought forward. With this decision, the City will move forward with detail design for the streetscaping work with the Environmental Study Report preferred cross-section but with a condition that any loading zones or accessible parking spots be placed where feasible and not impede the bike lanes. See Minister’s Review here.
