​​​​​​​​​​The Grow Green Awards features a total of 4 award categories. ​Individuals who live or work in Brampton may nominate themselves for any of the categories. Businesses and organizations are also eligible to apply for Climate Change and the Stewardship Award. Check out the categories below.

To recognize an individual and a business/organization that has signficantly contributed to advancing climate change mitigation and/or climate change adaptation awareness and outreach.

To recognize an individual and a business/organization​ that has significantly contributed to the advancement of environmental sustainability intiatives related to the conservation and/or stewardship of trees, natural heritage system, water, and/or the reduction of waste.

To recognize an individual or youth group that have significantly contribured to the advancement of environmental protection, climate change actions, and/or sustainability in Brampton. ​

To recognize an individual that has demonstrated outstanding personal service and ongoing contributions to advance the Grow Green Vision of conserving, enhancing and managing our natural and built environments to create a healthy, resilient and sustainable city. This award is provided only once per Council term.
