What to expect when you attend

​Have to visit the courthouse? Here are some of the things you can expect when you arrive. Please follow all signage and safety procedures. ​

Inside the Courthouse

  • ​Go to the Information Counter
  • Get your queue ticket based on the service you are visiting for
  • Follow the colour coded floor markings to the appropriate area
  • Meet with prosecutors in designated areas and be directed to the courtroom

Inside the Courtroom

  • ​Only sit in the designated seated areas
  • Only approach when called upon
  • Stand at the barrier. Speak loudly and clearly.

​Don’t Forget Your Phone

​If the queue is at capacity, please provide your cell phone number. You will receive your queue ticket by text message as well as instructions to wait outside until further notice. You will receive a second text message when it’s time to enter. Please proceed to the entry door and show the security guard your text message.
