Start on a Solid Foundation.
The City of Brampton Building Division would like to thank all staff and residents for making our 2015 “Start on a Solid Foundation” campaign a success.
For four Saturdays this spring, we’ve hosted information sessions at your favourite home improvement store to answer all your questions on permit requirements and zoning by-laws, home fire safety, and property standards. These events play a huge part in showing the community that we are here to help, and we’ve received great feedback from residents.
A special thank you to the following home improvement stores for hosting these events:
RONA Home & Garden, 50 Gillingham Drive
The Home Depot, 9515 Mississauga Road
The Home Depot, 60 Great Lakes Drive (Trinity Common)
Lowe's Home Improvement, 10111 Heart Lake Road
Posting the Permit
Don't forget to post the building permit in a location that easily is visible from the street. This will help to get the proper inspections completed in a timely fashion and notify the inspection authorities that you have approval for the work that is being done.
