Southwest Quadrant Renewal Plan

City Hall Campus On August 10, 2011, Brampton City Council approved the terms of agreement for the Southwest Quadrant Renewal Plan, which enabled the City to move forward with a creative solution to meet the City’s administrative space needs and plans for revitalization of Brampton’s downtown.

The project included a nine-storey building at 41 George Street, called the West Tower, and a two-storey addition to the current City Hall. This addition is connected to the West Tower by a pedestrian bridge over George Street South, known as Heritage Way.
The West Tower is a mixed-use facility that includes administrative space, community meeting rooms, parking and retail space.
Together with the existing City Hall building, this forms the City Hall Campus.
