September Service Improvements: Züm Bovaird extension and reduced child fare

BRAMPTON, ON – Brampton Transit is committed to getting riders where they need to be safely, on time, and in comfort. Starting September 4, our service improvements include a Züm Bovaird extension and reduced PRESTO fare for children. 
 
Highlights: 
• NEW 505 Züm Bovaird Airport Road extension to Malton GO Station 
• NEW 27 Robert Parkinson route east of Mount Pleasant Village
• NEW 54 County Court route from Brampton Gateway Terminal
• NEW 56 King Knoll route from Brampton Gateway Terminal
• 501 Züm Queen now ends at the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre Rapidway Station with direct connections to the TTC subway. This route  will no longer operate to York University. 
         o 501A/C Züm Queen will continue to service York University with extra service hours added  


PRESTO fare for children between the ages of 6 and 12 years will be reduced:

Brampton Transit’s Customer Charter commits to implementing a 2018 Service Plan which includes adding 65,000 service hours – the majority of these are part of the September service changes.
