City Council investing for impact through 2018 Community Grant Program

BRAMPTON, ON – The City of Brampton is investing $850,000 in funding to Brampton-based, non-profit organizations through the 2018 Community Grant Program.

This year, City Council approved 34 projects and programs, supporting new festivals, sport tourism events, recreation programming, arts and culture programs, as well as exciting changes to returning events. This investment will create a positive energy increasing the city’s cultural vibrancy, building civic pride and community attachment.

New in January 2018, the Neighbourhood Initiatives Stream supports projects that are directed to strengthening neighbourhoods that make up Brampton. Applications are accepted year round until the annual funding allocation has been awarded.
