BRAMPTON, ON (June 1, 2022) – The City of Brampton recognizes June as Pride Month. Celebrate Pride 2022, presented by TD, in Garden Square on Sunday, June 19 from 2 to 7 pm with live entertainment, local food vendors and more.
Join the City to celebrate Brampton’s diverse Mosaic, connect with the community and raise awareness of current issues still faced by the LGBTTIQQ2SA community, especially as it relates to this year’s theme, Justice is Joy.
Pride is an internationally recognized movement that celebrates kindness and compassion. The City of Brampton is pleased to see the return of an in-person event that will feature:
- Live stage performances from local Brampton artists and DJs;
- Live stage performances by Hasheel x Lady Pista and headliner Priyanka;
- Drag story time and meet and greet with Fay and Fluffy;
- Information booths from local community partners;
- Food partnerships with local Downtown Brampton restaurants;
- Giveaways and on-site activations; and
- An after party on The Rose Patio featuring Lady Pista from 7 to 9 pm.
