City of Brampton celebrates its first Black Mental Health Day

BRAMPTON, ON (March 4, 2022) – Brampton City Council has proclaimed March 7, 2022 as Black Mental Health Day and will observe the day with virtual events on March 7 and 10.

Join the City’s Equity Office in conversations on anti-Black racism, specifically, its impact on mental health in Black communities and tools for coping and resiliency.

About the City of Brampton Equity Office
Through its Equity Office, the City is working to ensure fair and equitable treatment of all individuals and to promote a harmonious environment at the City and for residents, by identifying and removing barriers in the workplace and in the community.
