Members of the media are invited to attend the unveiling of the Brampton Fire and Emergency Services Fallen Firefighter Memorial, a permanent tribute honouring firefighters who lost their lives as a result of occupational illness related to their service and recognizing their dedication and sacrifice to the community.

Speakers include:

• Andy Glynn, Fire Chief, Brampton Fire & Emergency Services
• Brent Robillard, President, Brampton Professional Firefighters Association

TIME: Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and ceremony begins at 6:30 p.m.

LOCATION: Brampton Fire and Emergency Services Headquarters and Training Centre, 425 Chrysler Drive

Members of the media who wish to participate are required to register by June 10 at 9 a.m. by emailing mediarelations@brampton.ca​. To allow time for setup, media are encouraged to arrive at least 15 minutes before the unveiling.
