Four ways to show Brampton businesses you care this Small Business Month

For all of October, the City of Brampton is celebrating Small Business Month in Brampton. Small Business Month is a time for the community to recognize the contributions that our small businesses make to our economy and to our community.

Everyone has a favourite neighbourhood business – whether it’s a coffee shop, a dry cleaner, a restaurant or a hair salon. Many of these businesses have been hit hard by COVID-19 and need the community’s support now more than ever.

Brampton residents are encouraged to join the Mayor and Councillors in showing their appreciation for these important members of our community this month.

Here are the top four ways to support local and show small businesses you care:
1. Support Local – send messages, leave reviews and post pictures of support on social media and use the hashtag #SupportLocalBrampton

2. Dine or Order Local – visit or order food from local food establishments.

3. Exercise Local – support local exercise businesses or join an online class.

4. Gift Local – purchase gifts or gift cards from our many outstanding local businesses.

Let’s come together and help these businesses during these challenging times!
