Required Forms

In order to file a registration as a third party advertiser in the 2026 Municipal Election, you must file the following documents with the City Clerk's Office during the registration period (May 1 - October 23, 2026):

1. Notice of Registration - Third Party - Form 7 (English: Notice of Registration - Third Party - Form 7 | French: Avis d'inscription - tiers - formulaire 7)
2. Consent by Third Party Advertiser - E2652 (English: Consent by Third Party Advertiser - E2652 | French: Consentement par un tiers annonceur inscrit - E2652)
3. Declaration of Qualification:
   • Individual - E2653 (English: Declaration of Qualification - Third Party Advertiser - Individual - E2653 | French: Déclaration de qualités requises - Tiers annonceurs - Particulier - E2653)
   • Corporation - E2654 (English: Declaration of Qualification - Third Party Advertiser - Corporation - E2654 | French: Déclaration de qualités requises - Tiers annonceurs - Personne morale - E2654)

Identification

The person filing the registration is required to present original identification at the time of filing. Please refer to the List of Acceptable Forms of Identification (English: List of Acceptable Forms of Identification | French: Pièces d'identité acceptables pour les électeurs et électrices).

A representative who wishes to register on behalf of a corporation or trade union third party advertiser must provide a letter of authorization from a designated official of the corporation or trade union.

Where to File

Registrations must be filed by appointment with the City Clerk's Office. Appointments may be booked online or by calling 905-874-2000. To book online, please see the button below. Third party advertisers who attend City Hall without an appoinment may be able to file their forms on a walk-in basis, depending on staff availability. It is recommended that you book an appoinment to file your forms.

The registration period begins on May 1, 2026, and ends on October 23, 2026.

The City Clerk's Office is located on the 1st floor of City Hall, 2 Wellington St. W, Brampton.

Third Parties must bring the required original forms and appropriate identification to the City Clerk's Office for their appointment.
