Media Release: Züm gets you there sooner

​Get on. Get there. Züm Queen West service starts September 6.
BRAMPTON, ON:  Three new routes will be in service for the first day of the 2016 school year, September 6. The City takes pride in creating efficient, reliable transit modes that connect people to places – building blocks key to creating a future ready Brampton.

NEW! 561 Züm Queen West
The milestone completion of Phase II of the Züm Bus Rapid Transit project connects the Downtown Terminal to Mount Pleasant GO station with these stops: 

• Downtown Terminal
• McMurchy Avenue
• McLaughlin Road
• Chinguacousy Road
• James Potter Road
• Creditview Drive
• Mississauga Road
• Williams Parkway
• Bovaird Drive
• Mount Pleasant GO Station
This route offers weekday service only.

NEW! 199 UTM Express
A pilot project for the 2016/2017 school year, this express route will travel from Brampton Gateway Terminal to the University of Toronto Mississauga campus (UTM) near the Student Centre, making no stops in between.
  • Fall term: September 6 to December 20, 2016, Monday to Friday, excluding holidays
  • Winter term: January 2 to April 28, 2017, Monday to Friday, excluding holidays
This service is a partnership between Brampton Transit and the University of Toronto Mississauga.

Operates from Mount Pleasant GO Station to Chinguacousy Road and Queen Street. Weekday AM and PM peak service and mid-day service only.
