Performing Arts Brampton is currently seeking customer service-oriented individuals for volunteer usher positions. Share your passion for live performance with our community and join our team!
Volunteers are an essential part of The Rose team, working with staff to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our patrons. Individuals 16 years old and over are eligible to volunteer and support arts and culture in Brampton at The Rose, in Garden Square, Cyril Clark and Lester B. Pearson Theatre. Many of our current staff started as theatre volunteers either at The Rose or elsewhere and translated the skills and knowledge into part-time jobs or full-time careers.
Volunteering is a great way to:
- Develop customer service experience.
- Meet new people and be part of the community.
- Learn more about different artistic disciplines.
- See emerging and established artists and arts-makers from around the world.
- Enjoy incredible live performances.
- Complete community service hours towards a high school diploma.
If you or someone you know is looking for a new adventure or volunteer opportunity, we’d love to meet you!
Please note: Many of our volunteer duties include standing for long periods of time and walking up and down stairs repeatedly when showing people to their seats. A Police Information Check is required for all volunteer positions within the City of Brampton. We accept applications year-round and host training sessions for new volunteers approximately three times a year.
