Brampton Showcase Purpose & Goals

The Arts, Culture & Creative Industry Development Agency (ACCIDA) is thrilled to bring Brampton back to the NXNE Music Festival in 2022 and we want YOU to put forward your idea for who gets on the stage. The 2022 concert provides an open platform for an individual or group to curate an evening concert showcasing local Brampton talent (after two years simmering during Covid-19). We are excited to work with someone who has success and experience in presenting and promoting local musicians and performers and who is invested in developing the amazing talent Brampton has to offer.

What are we hoping to achieve?

  1. Provide a platform to a local music curator or concert planner to be contracted to lead how Brampton is represented to a significant audience at a major GTA festival.
  2. Provide a paid opportunity and resources for up to 3-5 Brampton or Peel Region musicians or performers to bring their talents to the stage and have them promoted widely.
  3. Share the work of ACCIDA in addition to the local musicians to new audiences and support their success.
  4. Continue building Brampton’s identity as a Canadian hotspot for music and culture through this special production and associated marketing, promotion.
