Brampton Arts Organization (BAO) is seeking workshop and program proposals from local artists, curators, arts collectives, and arts administrators!
Brampton Arts Organization is thrilled to invite program, workshop, and community initiative proposals from artists, arts administrators, arts collectives, curators, creatives, performers, musicians and more from across Brampton! If you have an idea for a program, workshop, or initiative, we are excited to hear it. We want YOU to help shape what BAO offers.
If you have an existing initiative that you are trying to get off the ground, want to start a community initiative for the first time or are an artist facilitator with a community artmaking background, now is your opportunity to put your project forward!
The possibilities are endless: we are accepting applications for gatherings and socials, filmmaking, songwriting, music production, dance, painting, and artmaking of all kinds!
Program proposals in any topic will be considered, though we will prioritize projects that:

- Support local! A clear connection to Brampton and the surrounding area in your proposal.
- Do not duplicate programs BAO that is currently or has previously run
- A list of upcoming and past events can be found on our Eventbrite page and a list of programs that ran in 2022 can be found on BAO’s website

We strongly encourage applications from these communities or proposals that specifically strive to support their needs.
