INTRODUCING THE CENTRE STAGE CONSERVATORY

WATCH CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS VIDEO

The Centre Stage Conservatory is a FREE seven month training program for young Brampton artists to engage in professional development and mentorship to enhance and enrich their artistic sensibilities.

Inspiration rarely comes from isolation, and all participants, regardless of their area of expertise, will attend monthly workshops on a variety of topics taught by leading artists in their fields. The workshop themes will challenge participants to view their art through new lenses.

In addition to workshops, participants will develop and rehearse a showcase performance on The Rose Mainstage on April 9, 2020 for their peers, family and public.

The Centre Stage Conservatory is ideal for passionate, young artists who pursue excellence in their artistic work, and are curious and willing to challenge how they define and engage with art as a whole.

The program will enable participants to:

  • Enhance understanding of artistic principles.
  • Connect artistic choices to entrepreneurial skills.
  • Develop a comprehensive approach to artistic creation and performance.
  • Engage with fellow artists and peers.

Known conflicts with the key dates should be stated in the audition.
