Communities in Bloom

Community Forest

Forest

Brampton’s Community Forest is an exciting partnership between the City of Brampton and the Toronto Region Conservation Authority with the generous support of Trees Ontario, Tree Canada and the Region of Peel. Working together, we are creating a forest, running along Etobicoke Creek, in the heart of the City. It will serve as a showcase for healthy urban forests and a legacy for future generations.

locationLocated at Elgin Woods Park, on the west side of Hurontario Street south of Elgin Drive, this forest will serve as an educational centre, a recreational destination and a naturalized area as well as an opportunity to honour all of our community and business partners whose hard work and whose dedication has helped make Brampton a great city.
