YOUTH RECOGNITION AWARDS

The Clean City Youth Ambassadors received the 2007 Award of Excellence for Children and Youth from Parks and Recreation Ontario Pro

The Clean City Youth Ambassadors, a group of young and passionate student volunteers, are committed to keeping the City of Brampton clean and green. They pick up litter at local parks twice a week during the summer months and once a week during the fall in addition to volunteering at several special events throughout the year, helping out and leading by their example. The Clean City Youth Ambassadors are a fine example of youth involvement and spirit in making a positive difference in our local community. They have played an integral role in the city's Communities in Bloom initiative.
