Downtown Terminal
Located at the northeast corner of Nelson and George Streets, the Downtown Transit Terminal was officially opened in 1991, as the first true transit gateway in the Greater Toronto Area.

Municipal and private-sector partnerships funded this facility and built a six storey office building above the transit terminal. Its unique design is a testament to multiple-land-use planning and the concept of air rights policies.

Riders can buy snacks and other confectionery items as well as tickets, passes and PRESTO for Brampton Transit and GO Transit. A pedestrian tunnel provides direct access to the GO Transit rail station north of the terminal.
