Brampton Transit: Sustainable Commuting
Getting out of your car and onto Brampton Transit is a great way to help the environment.
In 2004, we started using biodiesel fuel for our fleet. There are many environmental advantages to biodiesel:
- Made from vegetable oil, waste cooking oil or animal fats
- Works with existing diesel engines
- Is biodegradable, clean-burning and non-toxic
- Produces less exhaust emission than regular fuel
