Team Building Programs
help students improve communication, build peer relationships, develop critical and creative thinking, enhance interpersonal skills and showcase the strengths of each team member.

Curriculum Based Programs
create hands-on learning and deliver key concepts in a concrete and enjoyable manner. Teaching strategies will accommodate a variety of learning styles.

Students will:
- Actively participate in physically and mentally demanding activities that will examine people's impact on the environment
- Demonstrate basic knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for a safe outdoor experience
- Show awareness and appreciation for living things and basic ecological processes
- Build on and increase knowledge that will foster responsibility for local and global environments

Sample Course Offerings:
- Low Ropes - Explore the "Challenge by Choice" concept as your group works together on various team building and cooperative activities, including our amazing low ropes course. Throughout these activities, your group will work on decision-making, goal-setting, communication, problem solving, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
- Pond Study/Wetland and Ecosystems - Explore the lives of tiny critters living in a world of water. Wetlands are amazing! Come and find giant water bugs, the predators of the marsh. We will take a look at how pollution is affecting these beautiful areas. Your class will also have an opportunity to identify some plants and animals while exploring this facinating ecosystem.

The Brampton Wilderness Centre is located at 2719 Bovaird Drive West. It is located after Heritage Road when traveling west toward Georgetown. It is on the South side of the road.
