Program Guidelines | It is our goal to provide you and your
family with positive experiences that
build great memories. If there is anything
that we can do to assist in making your
experience the best possible please let us
know.
On occasion a program may not be
the best fit. We want to work with
you to ensure that all participants in
the program are benefiting from the
experience. At times this may mean
transferring, withdrawing or providing
you with an alternative solution. | Refunds and Transfers | "Refunds and transfers may be available upon request, some conditions apply. A $10 administration fee will apply to all approved refunds. Note: Refunds on short-term memberships are not eligible. To request a refund please speak to staff at any of our recreation centres. | Declined/Returned Payments | "Any cheque or credit card payment that is not
cleared from a financial institution will be
subject to an administration fee of $39.55
including HST. Declined/Returned payments may result in cancellation of services. | Lost “CLASS Card” Fee | "We will be happy to replace your lost “CLASS
Card” at no charge for a first time occurrence,
however a second lost card in any given year
will be subject to a $10 replacement fee." | Non-residents | A surcharge fee of 25% per person, per
program, up to a maximum of $50 per
person, per program, per session, will be
added to the registration fee of all non-residents.
Non-residents do not qualify
for special discounts. Proof of residency
may be requested at time of registration.
For the purposes of this section, City of
Brampton ratepayers are considered
residents. | Adult 55+ Discount | Adults 55+ years of age and over are
entitled to a 25% discount on all
registered programs in this guide, with
the exception of programs offered at
the Flower City Seniors Centre. Proof of
age may be required. Material fees if
applicable, are payable at the full rate. | Family Discount 10% | Register three or more children (17 years
of age and under) from the same family
at the same time, in the same session and
receive a 10% discount. Note: restrictions
may apply. | Insurance | City of Brampton staff will provide
emergency first aid in the event of injury.
Participants are responsible for their own
hospital and medical coverage. | Cancellations | The City of Brampton Recreation Division
reserves the right to cancel or alter any
program information outlined in this
brochure without prior notice. | “Adverse” weather-related closures | Every effort will be made to ensure
that all recreation centres remain open
during regular hours of operation, with
programs and services to the public
continuing to operate as normal. In
the event of severe, adverse weather,
participants are recommended to call the
recreation centre one hour prior to their
program to confirm its operation. | Facility Rental User Liability Insurance Program | The Facility Rental User Liability
Insurance Program provides a
convenient and competitively priced
source of required insurance for those
users (individuals and groups alike)
who do not already have liability
insurance in place. This program will
ensure the following benefits; assist
users with protection from potential
financial exposure to liability and make
appropriate liability insurance readily
available to users at competitive rates.
