Brampton Clean City’s environmental free education programs and workshops have been developed for the entire education chain, from pre-schools through secondary schools to community groups and special interest organizations. They communicate the simple to complex subjects of environmentalism in a fun and interactive way and enable its integration directly into the Ontario school curriculum.
Arts Adventures Rose Theatre Brampton presents this series of high quality, educational and entertaining performances from around the world for local school groups. From theatre, to dance, to magic, there’s something for everyone, and every age group! Performances run during the school day and most are 60 minutes in length. Student tickets are only $8.50 and one free teacher ticket is included for every 10 students booked.

Fit Kids & Water Works FREE in-school program filled with interactive fitness and water safety education, games and fun! For students in grades 1 & 2 and 4 & 5 the focus is on water safety and/or the benefits of a healthy active lifestyle. They will learn how to be safe around water, where it is safe to swim and the importance of a life jacket. The fitness component demonstrates nutrition and how being healthy can be fun.
Brampton Wilderness Centre Environmental and outdoor courses offered at the Brampton Wilderness Centre develop knowledge, skills and positive attitudes in students, which reinforce classroom concepts and topics.
Swim to Survive school program is a Lifesaving Society survival training program for Grade 3 students. The goal is to have every Grade 3 student in Ontario achieve the Swim to Survive standard. There are 3 parts: 3 in-water lessons (1 hour each), 3 classroom water safety lessons and a handout for parents of participating children. Free of charge. Please contact your local pool and to register your Grade 3 class.
