Advanced Street Sign Address Numbers
The City has implemented a program to include municipal address numbers on advanced street name signs.

Numbering advanced street name signs ensures motorists can safely make the appropriate lane change in advance of the intersection. Advanced maneuvering is particularly beneficial for delivery trucks and emergency vehicles.

Municipal address numbers will be installed on advance street name signs when:
- The intersection consists of two major collector/arterial roads
- The intersecting road has a municipal address
- The intersecting road has the same name in either turning direction
Approximately 300 signs will be numbered to complete the program. Therefore, the numbering will be phased-in over the next 4 years.
