Special Event Road Closure Application

How do I apply?

Event organizers who are planning recreational or community events in Brampton, such as block parties, road races or parades must complete a Road Closure Application at least six weeks prior to the event and return it to:

Works & Transportation Department

Once the road closure application has been approved, the City of Brampton’s Works & Transportation Department will issue a Road Occupancy Permit. Works & Transportation staff will drop off and pick up signage and barricades that the event organizer will need to use to close the road.

How much does it cost?

There is no application/permit fee required for a block party, road race or parade.
