Project Details - Schedule C

In partnership with the City of Mississauga, the City of Brampton carried out a Class Environmental Assessment for proposed road improvements to Goreway Drive from Steeles Avenue to Brandon Gate Drive. Improvements to this section of Goreway Drive are needed to accommodate increased traffic demands and to alleviate road vehicle delays at the existing Canadian National Rail (CNR) at-grade (level) crossing (Halton Subdivision).

The study was carried out in accordance with the planning and design process for Schedule ‘C’ projects as outlined in the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (June 2000), which is approved under the Ontario Environmental Assessment Act.
