Project: Class Environmental Assessment
Status: EA Complete

Project Details - Schedule C

The City of Brampton has carried out a Class Environmental Assessment for improvements to Williams Parkway from Torbram Road to Humberwest Parkway. To best address operational deficiencies and the need for additional east-west capacity in the area, a number of alternatives were examined as part of the study including potential widening of Williams Parkway to six lanes, cross-sectional elements, intersection improvements, traffic operations, and the overall impact of such improvements on the social, cultural and natural environments.

The study was carried out in accordance with the planning and design process for Schedule ‘C’ projects as outlined in the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (October 2000, as amended in 2007), which is approved under the Ontario Environmental Assessment Act.
