The City of Brampton has completed a Class Environmental Assessment for the realignment of Creditview Road as new 36 metre road from Bovaird Drive (at the future James Potter Road intersection) to the existing Creditview Road at a point approximately 1,500 metres north of Bovaird Drive. Key elements of the road project, include an underpass at the CNR Halton Subdivision and realignment of Creditview Road as new 36 metre right-of-way from Bovaird Drive (at future James Potter) with a tie-in to existing Credtiview Road at approximately 1, 500 metres north of Bovaird Drive. Existing Creditview Road south of tie-in will be discontinued, and Fairhill Road extended to connect to realigned Creditview.
The study was carried out in accordance with the planning and design process for Schedule ‘C’ projects as outlined in the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (October 2000 as amended in 2007) and which is approved under the Ontario Environmental Assessment Act. This Schedule C road project has been carried forward from the Mount Pleasant Secondary Area Transportation Master Plan (Phases 1 and 2) supporting the Mount Pleasant Area Secondary Plan.
