Calling all small and medium-sized enterprises in Brampton…
BEN is a network that was developed by the City of Brampton Emergency Measures Office as a forum for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Brampton to gain free access to students from the York University Master of Arts in Disaster and Emergency Management program, who will consult with your business to create and develop business continuity plans. The business continuity process identifies the key elements of the organization. It reveals the vital functions and processes that are required to keep service and production going in the event of a business disruption.
Where do you fit in?
As SMEs, you understand that resources – especially time and money – are limited and developing business continuity plans can be challenging without the expertise or know-how to do so. BEN offers SMEs access to Student Consultants who will advise your business about risks and threats, and will develop a business continuity plan for your organization for no cost to the business.
Why should you be involved?
This program was created to strengthen SMEs in Brampton with the development of business continuity plans – let your business be one of them! Participation in BEN will have an invaluable impact on the ability of your enterprise to survive through business disruptions and emergencies, and enhance the long-term economic strength of your community as a whole.
