National Golf in School Program • www.nationalgolfinschools.com

The National Golf in Schools Program has been developed to deliver Physical Education learning outcomes through the sport of golf. The initial element of the program is focused on assisting elementary school teachers (specialists and non-specialists) with and without a background in golf, to plan and deliver quality learning experiences using golf as the vehicle. Developed by the Physical Health and Education Association of Canada (PHE Canada) in partnership with Golf Canada and the Canadian Professional Golfers’ Association (CPGA), the learning resource was designed to meet the learning outcomes of elementary schools curriculum across Canada.

City of Brampton Tennis & Curling School Program

Our program offers participants the chance to learn and develop their skills in either tennis or curling. Our nationally certified instructors provide physically involved activities and use structured programs to teach the core skills needed in each sport. Within each program, we create positive learning environments for participants to get the full benefits of the sport, as well as have fun!
Our safe and user-friendly equipment is modified for school gymnasiums and auditoriums. The equipment ensures that students will be able to have a fun and safe atmosphere while learning two great Canadian sports. Each program provides students with a chance to learn the basic rules and concepts of the sport as well as make it easy to transition to the tennis courts or curling arenas in Brampton.
Simply choose our Tennis or Curling program, and we will do the rest! If you are unsure which program to choose, we can offer both programs at your school. Each program has been created for a 45-60 minute time frame and can be modified accordingly. Both our in-school programs provide teachers, students and parent’s the opportunity to learn and develop a relationship with the individual sport for the rest of their life.
If you are interested in booking this new and unique program, please contact us at 905-458-6555 ext. 120 or by email at racquetinfo@brampton.ca or curlinginfo@brampton.ca |

Skateboard, BMX, Aggressive Inline demonstrations

Our team would love to come to you and provide a demonstration introducing these fun sports. We have our own portable equipment that can easily be setup outside, in your school yard or gymnasium that will allow our team to show students basic to advanced tricks.
Students will be able to observe and ask our team questions about Skateboarding / BMX and Aggressive Inline technique, learn where the various skate parks are in the City of Brampton and where they can get program lesson information.
Our programs are designed to teach the student to learn through participation and it can help influence how they feel about themselves, enhance social relationships and develop positive attitudes towards healthy active living. Instructors will help students learn to enjoy these sports and recognize the importance of observing safety procedures, respecting others and being punctual. All students are given an equal opportunity to learn and perform to their full potential.
