Volunteer Spotlight...

Meet Terry, one of our most dedicated volunteers. Every Tuesday and Thursday, rain or shine, Terry dedicates his time to walking our adoption dogs. Not only is Terry a friend to the dogs, he always greets the staff with a smile and a tray of treats, baked by his wife, for us to enjoy. On top of all of the good he does in the shelter, Terry has also served as a volunteer driver. As an example, Terry has driven an injured hawk to a falcon rescue located over an hour away up North. Because of this and more, we all get excited for Terry Tuesdays and Terry Thursdays! Please join us in giving Terry a big Paws Up, as he is our Volunteer of The Year for 2012!

Angel to the Animals...

Every so often Brampton Animal Services staff identifies a group of volunteers who have provided exceptional services to the shelter. This group is named Angels to the Animals.

Brampton Animal Services is proud to announce that Terry, Karen, and David have been named Angels to the Animals. Terry, Karen, David, and Salma, visit the shelter every Thursday to visit and spend time with the animals. These volunteers always show great enthusiasm and love towards all of the animals, and workers, at the shelter.

All of their hard work and passion for the animals is greatly appreciated by all of us here at the shelter, especially by the animals.

We sincerely thank Terry, Karen, David, and Salma for all that they have done, and continue to do, for our animals.
