Request a Proclamation
Proclamations are ceremonial documents issued and signed by the Mayor to recognize the value and importance of a person, an event, a campaign, or an organization for a certain day, week or month. Acknowledgement is normally given to reward the efforts and commitment of individuals and organizations that enhance our community and are significant to Brampton residents.
Proclamations may be issued for:
- Public awareness campaigns
- Charitable fundraising campaigns
- Arts and cultural celebrations
- Special honours (on the recommendation of the Mayor)
